Traditional Data Center Cloud
What is a Traditional Datacenter Cloud?
A traditional datacenter environment is a set of hardware, networking, storage, services, applications, and interfaces owned and operated by an business for the use of its employees, partners, and customers. A traditional data environment can also be created and managed by a third party for the exclusive use of one business.
The traditional data environment is a highly controlled environment not open for public consumption. Thus, a traditional data environment sits behind a firewall.
Unlike a Private Cloud solution, a traditional data environment does not use hypervisor technology solutions to consolidate and virtualize client workloads.
With Konect Center, small businesses can design and publish any number of user workspaces quickly and easily; each with their own mix of applications, desktops, data, mobility and networking services to meet the needs of each user throughout their business, whether onsite or off-premise. In addition, IT can choose to leverage the benefits of a hyperviser in order to create and manage virtual machines in order to create a private cloud for their business.
Users have the ability to embrace mobility and BYOD without compromising on performance or security, giving users the ability to work effectively and efficiently from anywhere, anytime, on any device, while enabling the business to embrace virtualization and maintain visibility and control over their company resources.
